in New Haven, CT. son of Thomas Shepard and Hannah Ensign. m. Hannah Blanchard 7 Dec 1682 in Maldon, MA
They became members of the Church in Brandford, 1709, and in 1717 they moved to East Haven, CT.
* NOTE: according to source #2 they believe though with no definate proof, that Hannah Blanchard
was a descendant of one Thomas Blanchard, who died in 1654, and who was in Turn a descendant of one Alain Blancard of Rouen,
France.
